The best way to reach me is by phone at 415.706.3800 or through myspace.com/drewpearce.
If you'd like to attend a house concert party, call me or contact me via myspace. A couple weeks before each show, I'll send you an Evite with directions to the event.
If you'd like to submit your music for a potential featured performance, please contact me through my myspace pages (see above).
I tend to book about 8-10 months in advance. Because I have a limited number of spots and a full calendar of returning artists, I have very few featured spots to offer new artists.
I give priority to the returning artists who have a proven draw of 40-50 people in the Bay Area.
That doesn't mean I'm not interested in meeting you and hearing your music, though. So please keep in touch and I'll do my best to work you onto the calendar at one of my events or point you in the direction of another house concert host who might have an opening.
In the meantime, here are a few other hosts I recommend contacting:

Finally, what I'm telling everyone who asks me for a gig these days is this: think of ways to OFFER opportunity rather than ask for it. That simple change in dynamic is what converted me from just another musician looking for a gig to a musician who has created a forum for myself and for others.
It didn't take that much work. Of course, I had a lot of help from people who are just as enthusiastic about the idea as I am. But you can do this, too. All you really need is a room that can fit 20 people (and friendly, music-loving neighbors).
Also note this is a series that favors rock, pop and alternative acts over folk acts. Nothing against folk music -- I'm just trying to provide a place for musicians who are outside of the Folk Alliance circles.
Last summer, I began working with George Daly, Jason Cole, Gabriel Shepherd and the rest of the team at About Records to help them promote their artists Larkin Gayl and Tim Hockenberry. Our first collaboration was The Leap Year Event at Sweetwater Station which featured Ashleigh Flynn, Jim Brunberg and Rick Hardin, as well as a Songwriter's Workshop and Competition. This summer, we're planning to organize a fundraiser to benefit local environmentally conscious organizations. Stay tuned to my calendar page for details!
If you'd like to contact the designers of my CD artwork, Kimi and Kate, about designing something for one of your projects, write me and I'll pass your information along to them.
